Subject: Applications Engineer (Singapore) Liza Bakri posted a job: Applications Engineer (Singapore) "Our client is a leading provider of gas compressor systems and services to the oil and gas industry worldwide. Currently they are seeking an Applications Engineer to join their expanding team in Singapore. As Applications Engineer, your main purpose will be to develop methodologies and provide guidance to integrate gas compressors into working solutions ensuring they are installed to specification. You will support proposals for new sales and collaborate with business partners in the system integration. Interfacing directly with customers, you will understand their needs and create effective solutions to meet their requirements while minimizing deviation from the standard product. You will liaise with Engineering and Sales & Marketing team, and provide guidance and review installation drawings to answer real-time questions along with estimate, planning and developing project cost. In addition, you will develop effective programs, assistance and support to broadden the scope of the applicability of gas compressors. You will participate and provide application support for conferences and exhibitions, perform presentational and training support for applications training and educate customer and distributors on operation and installation of equipment. To be successful, you will hold a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 5 years experience in project engineering, project management, applications engineering or similar role with air or gas compressors. Your knowledge of stationary plant scale compressors is essential. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment are advantageous.
