Role : Sr. Java Webservices Developer (Only US Citizen & GC) Location : Atlanta, GA Duration : Long Term Contract. Job Description : Designs, develops, tests, debugs and integrates code for a RESTful middleware framework that is built using Java6. The web service application, known as Customer Gateway, is built off of an internal platform known as Touchpoint. The Touchpoint application consists of a SDK layout on top of CXF and the Spring Framework and an additional testing framework to develop unit and integration test cases. This position will require the developer to expand upon the Customer Gateway web services and testing framework by adding web services to support both our customer and internal projects. The development will include writing associated positive and negative unit test cases. The position’s roles and responsibilities will include: Web Service application detailed design work and implementation in alignment with our development process Core product system enhancements as described by the technical leads Testing framework development enhancements Test case creation, using the framework, to validate the implementations Adheres to all development policies, procedures and standards Interfaces with the development teams to enhance the test coverage QUALIFICATIONS: Requires BS/BA in related discipline; 3-8 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in related field. Certification required in some areas. 3+ years work experience 3 + years J2EE experience 1+ years of web service experience 1+ years experience with Spring Framework and Apache CXF Ability to understand and comprehend XML documentation Must be able to demonstrate implementation knowledge of Design Patterns Experience with REST interfaces using XML and JSON bindings Prior development using ant, java, and jboss or tomcat Self starter who can present and communicate design approaches REQUIRED SKILLS: J2EE, Java6, Spring Framework, CXF, XML, Ant, CVS, JUnit If you are available and interested in this positions.
