"One of our Bangalore based clients needs to fill the following position asap. Local Bangalore candidates would be preferred. Position : HR Head Education : UG/ PG/ MBA ( HR )/ Equivalent Experience : 8 - 10 years ( preferably an HR Generalist from FMCG/ FMCD/ Retail/ Telecom/ Hospitality/ Education domains ) Locations : Bangalore ( locals preferred ) Compensation : Commensurate with candidate caliber and experience Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : 1. As a single HR point of contact the incumbent will be leading HR for the entire company, responsible for implementing the assigned areas of responsibility within the HR function, maintaining database and updates as may be required, generating reports as may be required, clarify to employees (internal customers) policies, procedures and processes, assist in quality improvement initiatives for their area of work, handle employee grievances, run the performance management cycle. 2. He / she shall also liaise with the business to develop the manpower plan for the company, coordinate and manage recruitment at various levels and finding ways to meet the ramp up plans for the organization, campus hiring, taking care of the on-boarding and induction for the new hires, handle training (as and when required). 3. Extensive depth of knowledge in contemporary HR practices and processes including performance and reward management, excellent knowledge of the market conditions impacting HRM, excellent people management skills, skills in designing HR Systems and processes, excellent working knowledge of MS Office. 4. The applicant must be people oriented and affable; should have an aptitude to keep pace in a fast, dynamic and challenging environment; must be flexible with working hours; should preferably be a localite. 5. The applicant must have accountability & authority levels, must keep the department's machinery well oiled and efficient, take initiative for improving systems and processes, take ownership for meeting the information needs of internal customers, decision making, take routine decisions that will further the cause of their department or function, assume responsibility for problems brought to their notice until assigned to the appropriate problem owner. 6. He / she shall be interfacing with benefits administrators (PF, Gratuity, Superannuation, Insurance, etc) or training consultants, recruitment consultants, etc.) as may be appropriate.
