Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Business Intelligence Tech Lead Elyse Kline posted a job: Business Intelligence Tech Lead "NOW HIRING: Business Intelligence Tech Lead for NOVEMBER 12TH START! 5-6 Month Project - Travel Between Atlanta, St. Louis & San Francisco; Hyperion Essbase & Oracle 11i, R12 Experience Required. Urgent Need for BI / Hyperion Essbase Tech Lead. This individual will be part of a small team traveling for 5-6 months between St. Louis, Atlanta, and San Francisco, and will be working as part of a large corporate merger initiative alongside a Project Manager and a BI Data Analyst, as well as an on-site DBA. Candidates must have experience with Essbase & Oracle 11i/R12. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Technical assessment of current reporting tool technology. Review of products available for reporting tool solution and design of architecture of possible new tool. • Work closely with Data Analyst to support implementation of new too • Support tool for finite period of time post-implementation • Develop and administer Self-Service Business Intelligence applications using SAP Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Cognos, SAS, Hyperion, and/or MicroStrategy platforms. • Connect semantic layers to data warehouse sources using Business Objects Universes, Crystal Business Views, Cognos Packages and SAS Datasets. • Design OLAP platform solutions using Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Express, SAS, and Microsoft Analysis Services. Load OLAP cubes using conformed data mart sources. • Implement different types of Analytic Sandboxes which support data mining activities and enhance predictive modeling capabilities. IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING: • 7+ years experience in Business Intelligence reporting • Expert-level understanding & extensive experience with a variety of reporting tools (Hyperion, Crystal Reports, SAS, Cognos, Informatica, SAP Business Objects, Brio, MicroStrategy, etc.) o Hyperion Essbase expertise required o Crystal Reports experience strongly preferred • Hands-on, in-depth experience with Oracle 11i/R12 • Tech Lead experience preferred, or BI expert with strong technical background HERE’S WHO WE ARE: Resolvit (http://www.resolvit.com) is a progressive management and IT consulting firm that helps clients' businesses grow with the power of our people—functional and technical experts who bridge the gap between IT and the business that it supports.
