The position involves applying the candidate’s security engineering and problem solving skills to develop solutions to complex problems. The Application Security Engineer (ASE) is responsible for promoting, designing, and evaluating security in all phases of the development life cycle with a specific focus on providing defensible coding strategies mainly in Java and .NET. The ASE shall ensure that appropriate and effective security techniques and solutions are identified and implemented through code review or application security testing. Qualifications CISSP or other security certification preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Security/Systems Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience Must possess five or more years of experience in both Cyber Security and Software Development with a focus on: · Reverse Engineering: software and communication protocols · Security assessment methodologies: penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability assessments · Incorporating security in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) · Architecture & Design: Authentication; authorization; configuration management; cryptography; exception management; auditing & logging · Protocol analysis – Perform security assessments of web based and more traditional client/service networked applications · Defensible coding techniques – Provide secure architectural and programming guidance to developers Core Competencies · Experience performing analysis, developing specifications, designing, constructing, testing and implementing secure solutions designs · Ability to abstract the solution architecture into different views and domains, apply critical thinking skills, technical ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness to ensure the security will continue to be viable · Knowledge of security standards and testing tools and methods · Strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to business requirements · Experience interfacing and collaborating with clients, peers, and management to develop solutions · Effective resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation · Strong ethics and the ability to effectively manage stress Specific Responsibilities · Assist project teams with end-to-end secure solutions and recommend and implement security controls as well as provide secure coding techniques · Implementation guidance - hands-on project consulting on security issues around architecture and code   I look forward to have a good business working together.   Regards, Ripudaman Bakshi FCS... http://bull.hn/l/UAAE/2"
