You will participate at the delivery of solutions that meet the client’s needs regarding quality. You will occupy a pivotal position between Business and IT, calling for analytical skills, communication skills and an innovative approach. Your work environment The Functional Analyst will be part of the Solution Delivery Center Accounts & Cards department within the Information Technology Services division and a member of the Solution Delivery Team Accounts. Job description As Functional Analyst, your tasks are as followed: - Contribute to the implementation of new IT solutions by assisting your internal customers to formulate and formalise their requirements - Perform functional analysis on the basis of the gathered requirements and advise the customer on the potential alternatives available in order to optimize solutions - Deliver and maintain the appropriate functional documentation - Validate your functional scope by performing System Integration Tests and supporting during User Acceptance Tests - Report on the progress and results - Collaborate with technical analysts and requirements managers Your profile Knowledge and experience - You have a Master or Bachelor degree, either in an economics/business related-subject or IT (or equal by experience) - You have excellent written and oral knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset. - You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience as Functional Analyst, including experience in data modelling - You have advance knowledge of standard methodology (UML), data modelling (BDW) and services specifications (incl. mapping sheets and XSDs) - You have experience using Power Designer - Experience within a banking environment is an advantage Competencies - You have outstanding analytical and problem solving skills, completed with a critical mindset and focus on quality - You work in a methodological and structured way, and you pay attention to details - You respect deadlines, and you are able to set the right priorities, with a strong result orientation - You are communicative and assertive - You are a team player and you enjoy working in various and dynamic teams More info? jobs@nxt-it.biz reference nr 1334"
