"CentreIT Recruiting currently has a 12 month contract position for a Program Manager Level 3 with one of our Washington DC clients. Do you have 8 years of IT project management experience as well as 4 years of Healthcare IT experience? Detail The client has a need for a senior technical project manager. The senior technical project manager will serve as the lead project manager on a number of initiatives that are required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The District’s existing Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) contract is set to expire in the next 12 months. As such, the District will need a senior project manager to develop a request for proposal and oversee the procurement, implementation, and certification of a new PBM so that Medicaid recipients can continue to have the ability to get their prescriptions filled. Additionally, the District’s Medicaid agency is also implementing a recovery audit contract as required by CMS. This contract will have interfacing requirements to the MMIS. The senior project manager will serve as the District’s primary point of contact when data interfacing needs are to be addressed. In addition to the to the RAC’s MMIS interface needs, the senior project manager will also serve as the lead on implementing the MMIS interface to the District’s new finance system called SOAR as well as to the District’s Health Regulation and Licensing Administration (HRLA) system. The purpose of the MMIS-to-HRLA interface is to provide a method by which Medicaid provider licenses will be updated automatically via a system to system communication. Currently, provider licenses are updated manually by the MMIS staff.
