Procom Services is a well established leader in the IT staffing industry with locations throughout Canada and the U.S.  We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to play a major role in continuing to grow our presence in the Vancouver marketplace. As a recruiter you will be responsible for actively marketing our client’s opportunities and staffing services to the top IT Consultants in BC.  We are ideally looking for someone with experience in selling staffing/recruiting services.  We highly prefer someone familiar with the Vancouver market as that will be your main area of focus. Responsibilities: -Responsible for effective and efficient recruitment delivery for our BC based clients -Keeping up to date and  providing current recruitment knowledge and trends within the information technology -Develop and maintain many strong working relationships with both candidates, existing and potential clients -Assist clients with the effective acquisition of top talent, contingent workforce management, and issues surrounding workforce planning -Contact candidates to discuss opportunities, salary/rate negotiations, as well as setting up interviews and facilitating job offers -Attending networking functions to continue to expand your base of IT consultants -Ability to engage passive job seekers to explore new career opportunities -Conducting interviews with potential job seekers to further assess their fit to our clients requirements -Active use of recruitment tools: internal CRM, online tools and social media -Work closely with Account Managers to deliver recruitment needs Experience Required: -Bachelor or Diploma in sales, marketing or HR -2-5 years experience in recruitment or a related field with a proven track record of success -An understanding or interest in the local information technology employment market -Excellent research capability with emphasis on effective, timely and quality information management -Excellent written, verbal and and interpersonal skills PROCOM SERVICES A leading provider of IT services in North America, PROCOM and PROCOM SERVICES currently have more than 2800 consultants on assignment and place hundreds of people in permanent positions annually.
