Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Enterprise Architect 1 Steve Tharayil posted a job: Enterprise Architect 1 "Summary: Responsible for the planning and implementation of comprehensive technology solutions that meet our clients' business requirements on high-impact projects. * Assist in defining/scoping deliverables, costs and benefits and ROI. * Assisting in converting business level story boards into planned features. * Act independently under general direction of management. * Accurately tasking-out deliverables for planned features, bug fixes, minor enhancements, etc. * Accurately estimating time requirements of deliverables. * Provides accurate and timely updates to project manager and/or team lead on progress on deliverables. * Writes designs for small projects (e.g. bug fixes, or minor enhancements, etc). * Contributes to design for tasked-out deliverables of planned features. * Codes bug fixes and minor enhancements with minimal guidance. * Codes portions of major enhancements from existing designs with some guidance from other team members. * Codes Java data binding, event wiring, styling, etc. as needed with standard, custom and third party controls. * Designs, writes, and performs unit testing of changes including development of test plans with some guidance from other team members. * Assists in the creation of the design specification and other technical documents to a high standard to enable the discussion of the specification with the user community. * Works with the documentation team to assure new functionality is properly documented. * Works with the quality team to assure new functionality is properly documented/understood for testing. * Serves as level 4 support, troubleshooting problems, providing workarounds and producing patches for customers as required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * 8+ years of experience developing Java/J2EE web-based applications * Strong knowledge and experience with Core Java and J2EE technologies especially JMS, JDBC, JAXB, JSP/Servlets, JSF * Experience in web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JSON * Knowledge of J2EE Frameworks like Hibernate, Velocity, Spring, is desirable * Important that the candidate has XML, XSLT, and XML Schema experience. * Hands on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware stack is good to have * Experience with high volume/load, high performing hosted application development * Self-driven and motivated software developer that takes pride in the development of high quality, on time, within budget projects * Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills * Experience with Agile development methodology, in particular Scrum would be beneficial. * Desired experience with healthcare messaging standards such as HL7 and CDISC. * BS in Computer Science or related, MS Preferred Apply here: http://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=c3RlcGhlbnRoYXJheWlsLjI3NzUzLjMzNzBAdmFjby5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20"
