Director of Projects & Program Management in Toronto, ON Canada Summary : The company is seeking a remarkable Program & Project Manager to manage our Program & Project Management practice utilizing both internal and vendor resources to ensure project delivery that makes our company succeed. You'll be working in a fast-paced, fun environment, and your work will affect millions of people. While experience is appreciated, the ability to learn and apply new technologies is equally important if not more so. This is a salaried full-time position with benefits.   Role & Responsibilities : Establish and drive the overall project prioritization, program, and project processes to ensure high-level business goals are met via projects Recruit, mentor, and manage project managers Facilitate and encourage the adoption of processes across the organization, starting from technology Establish, monitor, and maintain fantastic communication across all departments to create perfect transparency regarding how projects are selected and managed as well as project budgets, forecasts, and actuals Work closely with team members across the organization as well as many third-party partners and vendors to deliver key projects Track the overall progress and success of projects and initiatives Conduct business analysis and collect functional requirements Draft request for proposals (RFPs) for vendors Participate in application testing Organize and drive a social program to support external non-profit organizations Required Skills : 12+ years of relevant work experience, some of which involving Internet-based projects 8+ years project management experience in a technology-driven organization 4+ years of program management / steering or similar experience Strong presentation / facilitation of various size audiences Excellent leadership, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and motivation skills Good design taste (even for internal applications) Eye for details Ability to work among multiple teams and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical teammates A willingness to gain and share knowledge Comfort working with multi-party, multi-site resources on critical projects Strong analytical skills Extra Credit Experience : Agile (SCRUM) methodologies Compliance / regulatory controls E-Commerce and/or multi-channel retail http://bull.hn/l/11446/5"
