"Looking for a (Senior) IT Recruiting Professional in Chicago, IL Due to rapid growth and expansion of our IT Practice, Lucas Group is seeking to hire a (Senior) IT Recruiting Professional (full desk) at our Chicago loop location.   This role is primarily responsible for developing strong business and candidate relationships with highly skilled and sought after professionals within the Information Technology practice area, specifically within: IT Mid level to Executive leadership/management Application Design and Development (C#/VB.NET/ASP.Net, Java/J2EE, C++, PHP/Open Source, etc.) Database Architecture, Development and Administration  Network/Systems Engineering & Administration   Project/Program Management & IT/Systems Business Analysis Business Intelligence & Analytics Information Security Various/general IT operational positions General responsibilities: This individual will manage a full desk; performing full lifecycle recruiting (both candidate and client development); maintaining excellent relations with candidates, clients and the community at-large. Candidate side responsibilities: Grow and cultivate an extended network of professional contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates and business development opportunities. Leverage all known resources and in-house tools to identify and recruit the very best candidates. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Leverage behavioral interviewing techniques and advanced recruiting methodologies to screen and source highly qualified candidates. Provide complete, accurate information to candidates about the client's company and position; using a sales oriented presentation/approach. Manage and coordinate all communication and interviews with candidates. Prepare candidates prior to telephone and onsite interviews. Organize and document post-interview notes and feedback with account teams, clients and candidates. Perform detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers. Client side responsibilities: Manage client relations while maintaining honesty, integrity, and ethics in all aspects. Define and archive client's needs through successful requirement gathering, validation and on-going communication to fine tune the success of the search. Leverage a consultative selling approach to acquiring new business; cold calling to scheduling in person client meetings. Negotiate, present, prepare and execute terms/fee agreements with new and existing clients. Leverage internal partnerships for cross selling initiatives. Qualifications Required: 2 to 7+ years experience in full lifecycle recruiting; preferably in the IT industry. Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to; sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, salary trends and relationship management.
