Role : SAP Workflow/ABAP Developer -- Only Citizens & GC Location : Birmingham, AL Duration : Long Term Contract. Description: Key skills and experience are clearly outlined in the attached Job Requirements. Ideal candidates will have, at a minimum, 5+ years of ABAP development experience, either contract or permanent, within a natural gas utility or similar environment. Candidates should expect their stated experience to be verified during a follow-up interview with our Development Team manager, so please confirm each candidate’s experience before submitting them to us. Qualifications: Highlighted skills, experience are most important • Thorough knowledge of SAP modules and architecture • Requires a 4 year college degree related to Computer Science or applicable work experience • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience developing SAP Workflows for core and other SAP modules that includes a thorough knowledge of the following areas. o Workflow builder o Workflow engine, SAP workflow framework, and business workplace o Workflow transactions and navigations tools o Workflow modeling and configuration o Event creation and configuration o Maintain organization plans or integrate with HR organizational chart o Workflow programming o Development and integration of SAPscripts/Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Text elements o Knowledge of core business applications and processes such as Purchase Orders, Invoice handling, Approvals, etc. 4. Must have a minimum of 5 years of ABAP development skills using various SAP objects that include the following items. • ABAP navigation tools, SAP Notes, and transport promotion methods • ABAP objects • Classes , events, and methods • User-exits and BADI’s • Different forms: SAP scripts, SMART forms, and Adobe forms • Function modules, groups, RFCs, BAPIs, and pools • ALEs and IDOCs • Dialog and batch programming, strong program analysis, and performance tuning • Experience in report development with ALVs, drill down • Tables creation and enhancement with security objects • Add security objects for custom programs and exhibit knowledge of security methods • API interfaces and web services 5. Optional or preferred knowledge: • SAP CRM programming • Web Dynpro and web component development • Any other SAP programming or developer experience If you are available and interested in this positions.
