Group: IT Recruiters Subject: EPC Engineer – Dublin, Ireland Rachael Manning posted a job: EPC Engineer – Dublin, Ireland "EPC Engineer – Dublin, Ireland An EPC Engineers is needed for our client, a prestigious International Telecommunications company, to be based in Ireland on contract basis. Job responsibilities: •Provide support for Core (EPC, IMS) solution as integrated with equipment on customer lab premises and production environments •Provide configuration changes required for testing and day-day maintenance on the nodes installed •Define, develop, and execute test cases to meet customer requirements and demonstrate feature functionality •Present test results and product implementation information to the customer •Help define methods and recommendations to introduce new features in customer networks, to configure them according to operator's strategy, and to evaluate their performances in the customer lab •Validation of configuration, fault and software management as well as other relevant functionalities as call processing and O&M of EPC / IMS •Contribute to design aspects of Core interfaces for operational efficiency • Field validation of EPC / IMS and monitor performance of nodes Requirements: •Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience (Master's Degree preferred) •elecom Engineer with expertise in element management systems •Excellent Knowledge of LTE EPS Technology •Detailed understanding on 3GPP specifications •Know-how and experience in mobile networks (EPC and IMS ) •Understanding of LTE call processing and signalling •Experience or interest for lab activities, performances analysis via counters & traces •Eligible to work in Ireland, ideally based in Ireland right now.
