As mentioned in the general context, an alignment of processes and tools needs to be considered. This includes mainly: • Delivering a consolidated backend infrastructure to support the new end-user computing platform • Operational Readiness of the IT support team • Deliver end-user productivity-oriented, leading-technology, solutions Function: client is looking for an experienced (see desired profile) project manager with strong interpersonal skills to take overall responsibility for project planning and coordination of project tasks, budget management and reporting as well as management, control and monitoring of project team members. Responsibilities: • Manage the main project planning and its dependencies • Coordinate all activities within the project and with the external providers • Lead the project team • Report status and progress to programme management • Manage risks/issues (maintain the risk and issue logs and coordinate resolution and mitigation) • Manage the project deliverables and their review cycle • Appropriate escalation The project has started in January 2013. The situation today is that the High Level Designs have been mainly validated, the project team is currently working on: - Detailed Design phase, - Initiate build activities - Setup the testing environment The project manager we are looking for will have to join the project team during the testing phase. As the project is divided in different phases, parallelism of activities is the rule. The Pilot phase is expected to start the 12th of June The Migration activities will continue up to Q1 2014. Essential • University degree Desirable Languages English and French Essential • Project management qualifications • IT skills mainly in the field of office automation and dependencies • Technical migration experience Desirable PMI certified (preferred) or Prince2 ITIL V2 – V3 • Minimum 5 years’ experience (In IT project management projects) • Proven experience of taking over projects already in Execution would be desirable • Strong People management skills • Work organisation • Result oriented • Communication • Capacity in taking over a far-reaching project More info? jobs@nxt-it.biz ref nr 1716"
