We are currently looking for an individual to join our Team as a Software Test Engineer (.NET and PHP Platforms). This position is responsible for software testing technology for SNH, Inc. and all of its affiliated companies. This includes collecting initial software project design requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manages software testing, to include the running and teaching of software testing throughout the development and implementation process within organization(s). Responsible for application Testing Methodology and application support, design, development and automated testing. Discover and document business workflow to provide design requirements for Software Engineers. Minimize costs and maximize bug free software results for our business. Creates the IS initiatives that will improve software quality and financial results by evaluating and upgrading processes within the organization and directing and influencing changes that will expand the business impact of IS team. Majority of the applications and tools are expected be web-based (.NET and PHP) platform and have a scripting component. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience managing Software Development Testing Methodology, to include previous experience creating software design requirements. Ability to develop and maintain cutting edge SaaS applications. Experience working with C# or other .NET language (C# preferred). In addition, experience working on web development (PHP or ASP.NET) required (PHP preferred). Working with scripting languages such as Python/Perl along with experience working with web client side technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, CSS etc., and SQL Server 2005/2008, MySQL or related Database required. Experience using SOASTA, Selenium or other automated functional and Performance testing tools. Experience working with distributed technologies (Web services, Remoting, etc.) preferred. Must possess strong communication skills as well as a focus on creativity, innovation and the ability to collaborate well with employees at all levels in the company along with customers and other strategic partners. Strong history of implementing metric systems for measuring team performance. Excellent organization skills in order to effectively document work thoroughly. In addition, must have the ability to multitask and have the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
