"Position: Sr. Trade Support Portfolio Administrator Location: Stamford, CT Duration: Permanent Salary: DOE Central Trade Support •Perform Trade Support function for the Portfolio Administration Team. •This includes post execution support to both traders/brokers. •Confirmation and instruction of trades to the Custodian, focusing primarily but not limited to same-day and TD+1 settlement. •Address any urgent trade settlement issues that arise out-side of Dublin hours. •Instruct all DTC/FED Private Placement Trades traded on Chartist Domestic accounts to the Custodian as directed by Private placement team. •Review/file daily signed trade blotters from the Portfolio Managers •Upload all trade files received daily from various operations groups in an accurate and timely basis •Complete 3-way-reconciliation to ensure trades are capture across all internal systems once executed on Bloomberg or import via trade file. •Alert – Create settlement instructions and confirmation details for new portfolios and maintain existing Portfolio information. •Contribute to drafting and maintaining Central Trade Support procedures in Share-point •Keep Manager informed of any issues in respect of quality / timeliness re receipt of trade files/confirmation of Bloomberg block trades etc Bloomberg (BBG) /APPIAN Portfolio / Position Maintenance •Update BBG/TSA with any new trading portfolios as per APPIAN portfolio set-up requests. •Update BBG with any Asset Transfers/Redemptions to trading portfolios as instructed by Portfolio Administrators/Middle Office/Investment Accounting. •Update/amend BBG with custodian / broker SSIs Portfolio Administration Support/Cover •Assist and be able to perform portfolio administration functions for cover purposes including and not limited to asset and cash reconciliations, new client/portfolio on-boarding ,with the objective of increasing client satisfaction and delivering the service efficiently •Respond to client inquiries and help facilitate gathering information for clients as a single point of contact for portfolio administration •Support Portfolio Administration leadership in partnering with clients, Portfolio managers, GS (information technology/ middle office/ reference data), Compliance, Legal, and ORM /Internal & External Audit staff to further develop/ enhance processes, procedures and practices that support product and service requirements APPIAN PMF •Set up new portfolios and updates to existing portfolios via APPIAN •Escort all portfolio setups requests on APPIAN to make sure all requests are approved as soon as possible •Train and educate APPIAN requestors / users on how to request a portfolio / answer questions that relate to different portfolio fields for Accounting / Trading portfolios •Appian adhoc requests, troubleshooting, testing etc... Client/Internal Departmental Queries •Ensure a timely (within 48 hours of receipt of query) and detailed response to all queries received from client base / internal departments i.e. trade dates, verification details in macros etc. •Notify your Supervisor/Manager of all issues raised by internal departments – for update to customer query log. •Archive files (maintain/issue standard file archive template labels to Portfolio Administration teams) and ensure quarterly archiving is carried out.
