Our client, a global financial firm seeks talented Perl/Sybase Consultants to work in the Legal and Compliance Technology area to manage a wide variety of reporting and data manipulation applications. The candidate will have the opportunity to play an integral role in the development and support of a variety of systems. Financial experience REQUIRED. This is a long-term contract (6 month +) located in Connecticut. Required: • 5+ years of software development experience • Sybase experience with Stored Procedures, Tables and Indexes • Experience in the Financial Industry • Good Perl coding skills • Quick delivery in a fast paced environment • Support and resolve production issues • OBI Publisher or Spotfire experience is a plus • Java (or C# or ASP.net) is a plus"
