"Account Manager – UK (IT / Telecoms Industry, Customer Relationships, Presentations, Perm, UK, ASAP, Sales, Campaigns, Key Account, Negotiation, Leading Telecommunications Network Vendor Company, Mobile, Handset) An experienced Account Management Manager is needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company based in the UK, on a permanent basis. You will be based in Reading. Job Description: Lead and manage all elements of the relationship with key customers and to implement business strategy to deliver objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Seek out, identify, develop and close business opportunities with identified/allocated accounts. • Enhance customer relationships that reflect the expectations of the customers & business objectives – targets, KPIs, touch points. • Manage and coordinate all activities between and the customer. Promote the full range of products to defined customers. • Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentation to include pricing, propositions, marketing etc… Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Product Management, technical & marketing to ensure the smooth implementation of requirements with the product solutions. • Create and present customer proposals and quotations verbally, following approval. • All commercial offers must be put in hard copy writing on letterhead and formally signed. A copy to be given to the Executive VP’s Executive Assistant/Sales Co-Ordinator. • Create co-operative business plans with customers and their partners and help to define new business models and support product features. • Create Sales Account plans which will identify, quantify, and recommend Sales action plans to address new business opportunities consistent with overall company strategy. • Sell in and sell through devices into carefully selected channels, meeting and exceeding sales targets. • Develop, maintain and enhance relationships across all levels of customers business, to include formal and informal meetings, HQ Visits, Trade exhibitions, business dinners and hospitality. • Provide weekly reports and regular account reviews to EVP & other senior management and present account updates at formal internal meetings/workshops. • The development and delivery of sell through campaigns and evaluate sell out programs/activities and stock levels across direct and in-direct channels. • Work with the Device Marketing Manager to support new product launch plans including PR, TTL activities, seeding samples, training etc... • Feedback local Account Requirements into the Global Account Teams to ensure alignment & clear communication at all times. • Occasional requirement to temporarily care-take another account(s). • Obtain competitor information and market insight • Entertain customers outside of normal working hours to establish closer relationships with key individuals within your account. Promote the benefits of visits by key customers. You may be required to accompany your customers on a business trip. Professional Knowledge & Experience: • Proven success in sales and negotiation within the Handset/Mobile/IT industry • Sound industry knowledge and a proven history of solid customer relationship building and opportunity qualification • Minimum 5 years’ experience in account management or higher level Computer/Language Skills: • Sound oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent presentation skills and confidence to present to large customer audiences • Excel & PowerPoint skills essential If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experiences for the above position, please forward your updated resume in a word document to Jason sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIJV/AcctMgr or call +385 1 638 7404 for further information."
