Group: IT Recruiters Subject: QA Analyst position at Las Vegas, NV Mitesh Shah posted a job: QA Analyst position at Las Vegas, NV "Position: QA Analyst Location: Las Vegas, NV Duration: 6+ months • Draw test requirements from functional and design specifications, and formulate them into test cases and or test scripts for website and timeshare management system. • design and develop test plans, test suites, and defect reports. • Execute manual and automated test scripts. • Ability to think 'out of the box' when testing, and provide recommendations and feedback in any areas in need of improvement: functional or technical. • Log defects and follow up on resolutions. • Manage qa and uat cycles: project timelines, deliverables, defects, and business coordination independently. • Act as the liaison between the business owner and business analysts/ development when coordinating business requirement clarifications and or defects. • Effectively test windows, web, and ivr applications in a proprietary software-testing environment. • Learn dri proprietary timeshare management system and website software application, and the business process that drives them. • Participate in scrums, project status meetings, and uat handoff • Must have excellent communication, writing, listening, and interpersonal skills. • Ba/bs in computer science, software engineering, mis or related degree. • 8+ years of qa experience in client server and or web based application environment. • Experience in hospitality a plus. • Knowledgeable in rdms (ms sql server and or oracle); ability to write sql queries. • Experience in any of the qa test tools or automation tools: qc, qtp, visual studio test management, and coded ui. • Knowledge in the following programming languages preferred but not required: pl/sql, .net, vbscript, and c#.
