Group: Technology Recruiters Subject: Sr. Storage Ops VNX / VMAX - Kansas City, KS Avtar Singh posted a job: Sr. Storage Ops VNX / VMAX - Kansas City, KS "We are in need of a Sr. Storage Ops VNX/VMAX resource Onsite at Kansas City for 4-6 months role with our direct client. Must Have Skills: • HW: VNX (block) priority, then VMAX • SAN: Primarily Cisco. • SW: Data Migration tools/methodologies • OS: VMW and Solaris/Oracle, Windows/SQL • Customer is currently consolidating 5 data centers down to 2. Both are at hosted facilities. There will be replication in the future. • Customer has contracted a 3rd party to come in and take overall responsibility for the Block data migration – design/architecture, etc. from their existing platforms (a mix of CX, VNX) to new VNX and VMAX. • Customer is looking for a resident with VNX/VMX/Cisco/Data Migration experience to come in and execute on the data migrations plans set forth by the 3rd party • Resident will also be asked to perform VNX and VMAX day to day operational tasks such as storage configuration, host provisioning, monitoring, reporting, documentation, knowledge Skills EMC Core: V-MAX, VNX, Skills Database: Oracle, Skills OS/Applications: Solaris, Skills SAN Switches: Cisco -Avtar Singh avtar.singh@tbctech.com"
