Job Description: Job Description: The candidate in this position would be responsible for managing and releasing builds for Wireless Connectivity technologies such as WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC, ANT+, FM, etc. Candidate would be working with software build and test tools to help deploy and maintain processes that ensure quality software releases. This includes activities around continuous build and test tools (CBT), source code management, test and tool automation, and software releases. In addition, external software release and software baseline management is also an integral part of this position. Successful candidates are expected to gain strong debugging skills and wide domain knowledge across various wireless connectivity products. Responsibilities: The candidate is expected to build, integrate and debug large scale system level software components which constitute a complete applications processor image. Candidate is also expected to help manage software code-lines using source control management systems. Required Skills/ Experience: 3- 5 years of experience in software development. Build integration experience a plus. Previous experience in Wireless communications a plus. Previous experience in C, C++, Perl, Python. Ability to use Version Control Software: Perforce, Clearcase, or equivalent. Ability to debug C program on Embedded Real Time Systems using JTAG, Trace32, etc. Ability to write and debug Software Generation program: GNU Make, SCons Ability to use wireless communication test equipment, analyze test logs and isolate test failures. Ability to communicate clearly with diverse group of software development and test teams organize effectively, and document work thoroughly familiar with GNU family compiler/ linker usage. Create scripts (PERL/Python) to analyze test results to allow quick indication of pass/ fail results Keywords."
