Group: IT Recruiters Gopishetty Sudheer has started a discussion: Application System Developer "Role: Application System Developer Location: Auburn hills, MI Duration: 6 Months Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify moderately complex integration of applications and solutions across the enterprise (corporation). Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debug, documents and maintains those programs. Competent to work most phases of application systems analysis/programming activities. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concept, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager. Duties include, but are not limited to, being a main point of contact for the various laboratories and testing facilities using the applications this person will support to insure that the business can increase their operational efficiency effectively. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Minimum 3 years experience working with .Net based programming languages Minimum 3 years experience working with Java based programming languages Experience working in engineering system testing environments a big plus Demonstrate excellent ability to conduct research to devise and/or modify complex integration of applications and solutions. Demonstrate experience in providing guidance and advice to various groups on application systems activities.
