Carolina Duration: 6+ Months Under general supervision, candidates will provide advanced technical consulting to users concerning security, network routing and switching. Will work with managed networking equipment and associated software in order to support highly critical and visible state government agencies and services. Experience with Juniper SSL-VPN using 2 factor authentication is required. Must have a thorough knowledge of Ethernet; TCP/IP; routing protocols; VLAN's and network trunking; routers, switches, wireless access points and other network hardware. Ability to prepare technical and user-friendly reports in a clear and concise manner. Employee must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays and be "on-call" 24 hours /day, 7 days/week."
