Job Title: Risk Analyst - Electronic Trading Governance & Control Corporate Title: Associate Department: Corporate Banking & Securities (CB&S) Location: Birmingham, UK Overview: Deutsche Bank's CB&S (Corporate Banking & Securities) division comprises two global businesses - Markets and Corporate Finance (CF). The Risk Analyst vacancy is an important position within the CB&S ORM&S team and you will contribute to the successful development, implementation and execution of a risk management framework that will provide comprehensive controls around all electronic trading activity as well as supporting the governance and decision making bodies that will oversee this framework. Key responsibilities include: * Review of proposed electronic trading activity against the minimum control framework (MCF) and present findings to management and governance bodies for decision making. * Highlight gaps and determining remediation to be undertaken, and where appropriate flag the need for risk acceptance. * Review of proposed risk acceptances against requirements and present findings to management and governance bodies for decision making. * Maintain the portfolio repository with up-to-date information on electronic trading activity control assessments. * Monitoring and reporting on control gap remediation commitments - highlighting overdue items and other issues for escalation to management and governance bodies. You will have: * A strong academic background, educated to degree level or have the equivalent experience. * Strong knowledge of Electronic Trading activity - including Algorithmic Trading, High Frequency Trading, Direct Marker Access, Sponsored Access and other electronic automated methods to interact with markets (or other kinds of trading facilities). * Strong knowledge of the Electronic Trading lifecycle - including initiation, generation, routing, placement and execution (confirmation). * Excellent knowledge of the RFQ (Request for Quote) lifecycle - including client enquiry, routing, pricing, publication, negotiation and execution. * Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organisational and interpersonal skills. * Strong oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills and will be able to provide reports and briefing materials to Senior Management. * Experience in identifying and gaining support for process improvements and implementing them, where feasible. * Experience in drafting policy and procedural documentation. * Knowledge of ORM and associated techniques, standards, risk drivers, performance metrics and regulatory requirements. * Investment Banking Experience. You will be: * Able to work independently and in a team environment, prioritising multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines. * Computer literate and have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
