Abolfazl Darroudi posted a job: Hiring Now: Accountant experienced in construction accounting for A Construction Company in Erbil "Responsibilities: • Preparing monthly billings and pay applications • Preparing Lien Waivers and obtaining Supporting Waivers from vendors • Coordinating all documents necessary for job payables and receivables • Monitoring collections for each construction job • Preparing / Monitoring timely payment of accounts payable • Preparing specialized forms including certified payroll, minority reports, and OCIP insurance reports • Use of specialized online billing software such as Textura and PRIZM • Assisting with change orders and closeout documents • Preparing Trust Receipts • Preparing spreadsheets utilizing Excel including jobs in progress, job profitability, and financial analysis Requirements: • 7 + Years Minimum accounting experience in the construction industry • Understanding of accounting terminology used in construction industry • Excellent computer and communication skills including Word, Excel and Outlook. • Possesses the ability to adapt to various accounting software programs • Ability to communicate well with customers and vendors. • Ability to work independently in a team atmosphere while handling multiple deadlines • Excellent general accounting knowledge in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and certified payroll.
