Edward Peterson has started a discussion: Sr. Tax Specialist - Blue Bell, PA "PMA Companies is seeking a tax specialist to prepare and review income tax accounting necessary for the organization's federal (SEC) and state filings Research, analyze and advise on legal means to minimize tax liability and may recommend alternative tax treatments and advises management on tax implications resulting from proposed organizational actions. Review complex federal and state tax returns. Analyze and make recommendations to enhance and document corporate tax procedures. Undergraduate degree in finance or equivalent work experience is required; Masters in Business Taxation and/or CPA designation a plus but not required. 5 years of corporate tax experience required; insurance tax reporting experience a plus. FAS 109 experience is required. Knowledge of tax code, rules, and regulations is required. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office is required, experience with ONESOURCE Tax Software a plus.
