If you are looking for an opportunity that will allow you to grow, learn new skills, and see your vision take shape, this position is for you! The first assignment in this position will be onsite. But in future assignments, you will have the opportunity to work from home. The main role is the installation, support, maintenance and trouble shooting of issues in various environments. Skills: ● Responsible for the data analysis, design and solution architecture for data warehouse applications. ● Create conceptual, logical and physical database models as well as process and data lineage diagrams. ● Create application design and high level design based on customer’s requirements. ● Generate data analysis and profiling to support ETL design. ● Work closely with ETL developers to assist them with development life cycle. ● Ensure that necessary metadata repositories are developed and that they meet the current needs and provide flexibility for future growth. ● Ensure that proper documentation is created and maintained according to standards and procedures. ● Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members. Requirements: ● Experience designing the architecture of DW and BI solutions in a multi-terabyte environment. ● Excellent knowledge of dimensional and relational modeling. ● Excellent data analysis skills. ● Working knowledge of data modeling tools (Erwin required). ● Working knowledge of Teradata architecture. ● Familiarity with SQL, Teradata SQL, UNIX and Shell Scripting. ● Working knowledge of Informatica or other Enterprise class ETL tools. Preferred Skills: ● Working knowledge of relational databases (Teradata and Oracle 10g, 11g) ● Working knowledge of telecom business processes and KIP’s is a huge plus. Personality Requirements: • Strong analytical skills – ability to translate data to strategy • Ability to think creatively and strategically • Excellent organization and time management skills • Visual design skills are a strong plus • Conceptual thinking, presentation skills at a high level. • A drive for wanting to build products from the user's point of view • Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal assistance from fellow team members • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work and communicate pro-actively with business owners, and clients. Education: College degree is helpful; but not required. Real world experience is more important. Salary and Benefits: ● Competitive rural market rates paid ● Stock option equity bonuses – Shareholder and Annual Bonuses.
