"Our medical device client in South Orange County, CA is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Technician to support the manufacturing and quality assurance groups to ensure quality product and compliance with quality system policies and procedures, FDA and international requirements, and ISO Standards for Class III Medical Devices. Responsibilities: Perform inspector and operator process certifications. Perform periodic audits of receiving inspection and manufacturing processes. Document findings. Identify and implement corrective actions. Perform product acceptance/ product release activities for receiving inspection and manufacturing, including document review and records auditing. Document findings. Identify and implement corrective actions. Support manufacturing and receiving inspection in quality control activities; including identification of quality issues affecting product and containment of discrepant material. Examine and use prints, schematics, work instructions and procedures. Assist and perform disposition, analysis, and reporting of deviations and NCMRs. Assist in the analysis and reporting of SPC data. Assist in the establishment or clarification of accept/reject limits for product. Assist and perform trending and reporting of NCMRs, internal and external yields, internal and supplier corrective actions and other Quality System metrics. Assist and perform quality system audits. Assist in supporting the calibration system including scheduling 3rd party calibration companies for technical support and/or executing in-house calibration procedures. Support the CAPA system. Support the SCAR system. Required Qualifications: Associates degree or vocational training with 3 to 5 years related medical device experience, or equivalent education, experience, skill set, and/or proven performance.
