The person will lead an existing team that consists of business development and investment professionals to continue building and growing the Investment Advisory business. Responsibilities: - Maintain and further strengthen key relationships with Chinese energy and power generation companies. Develop a deep knowledge of their investment needs and priorities and has the ability to engage with the right level of stakeholders when investment opportunities arise. - Develop and maintain an effective network in Europe and other strategic markets like US and South America to have a proactive track of business dynamics and investment opportunities in each of the markets. Build and extend XXX’s brand name within the ecosystem to such extent that deal opportunities form a healthy pipeline for interested Chinese investors. - Manage all aspects of the deal support provided to both sides of the transaction in appraising and deciding on potential attractive targets, which would include overall project management, advice on strategic fit, commercial and financial due diligence, business projection and handling and influencing other key stakeholders such as governments and other regulatory bodies. - Expand and manage the Investment Advisory business, including overall responsibility for P&L, and recruiting and coaching of a team of investment professionals Requirements: - Chinese, 35-40 preferred. - University educated, preferably MBA or finance degree - Minimal 4 years experience in M&A at investment bank or boutique advisory - Solid transactional experiences, including investment, mergers & acquisitions or project finance (ideally cross-boarder) experiences in the energy, carbon or general investment banking and fund sectors. - Track record establishing contact and developing trust based relationship with key stakeholders of Chinese entities. - Passion for clean technology and power generation investment in general and ideally is equipped with strong domain knowledge. - Very entrepreneurial, independent and willing to take risk - Professional proficiency in both Chinese and English Interested candidate, please freely send me your updated resume to seekerer@163.com Thanks."
