"This is for one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of high-performance wire and cable including fiber, RF/Microwave, specialty and filtered connectors, cable assemblies, complex harnesses, integrated installation kits and ARINC trays, racks and shelf assemblies, and offers engineering and certification services with DER, DAR, and DMIR personnel on staff. QUALIFICATIONS: •B.S. Electrical Engineering, B.S. Mechanical Engineering, B.S. Manufacturing Engineering, B.S. Industrial Engineering, or equivalent and/or 5-10 years experience in a similar position. •Minimum of 5 years of experience in an aerospace cable assembly design environment required. •Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Pro E. •Must have extensive knowledge of commercial aerospace regulatory requirements and general design requirements for aircraft wiring. •Must have thorough understanding of components, processes, equipment, standards and terminology used in Aerospace cable assembly design. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel, including customers is a must. •Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. •Ability to multi-task; work on multiple projects. •Excellent personal computing skills, particularly Microsoft Office. •Thorough ability to read and interpret requirements documentation from a wide variety of customers. •Ability and willingness to travel by air and auto throughout the USA. •Manual dexterity used occasionally with repetitive finger motion. •Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, the ability to identify colors, and ability to adjust focus.
