"TerraNova is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst for our end client. Location: Beaverton, OR Duration: 12 Months Contract Salary: D.O.E Must be US citizen/GC holder Job Description • Under general direction, instructs, directs, and checks the work of other quality assurance analysts • Ensures that all information systems products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements • Performs and leads the testing of web-based and client/server applications to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects • May create test data for applications. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems • Reports progress on problem resolution to management • Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations • Formulates and defines project scope and objectives based on both requirements documents and a thorough understanding of the product and the software development lifecycle • Initiates and helps develop detailed test plans to be used by the QA group in testing the application • Creates defect tracking reports and leads the project to verify all defects are resolved and verified by the QA group • Acts as a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration Education Level Requirement • College Degree Work Experience Required • 3 years Required Skills • Three years of experience in C#, MS SQL, TCP/IP and Client Server • Three years of experience in Testing/troubleshooting.
