If you are available and interested, or know someone else who may be looking, please contact us at career@microagility.com Title: Agile Methodology Consultant Location: New York, NY Type: Full time W2/C2C Rate: Market Job ID: 1016-003AMC JOB DESCRIPTION Tasks included but not limited to: - Advocate adoption of agile culture. - Scale agile methodologies across multiple cross-functional teams. - Establish metrics and report status of agile transformation to senior leadership. - Lead a team of agile coaches to advocate adoption of agile methodology. - Coach teams on effective execution of agile methodology. - Establish training, processes and tools. - Define and refine agile methodology for successful adoption among distributed teams. - Define and maintain a knowledge base of software processes, training documents and best practices. - Attend agile seminars, seek external consultation, and remain in touch with industry trends. - Lead and support constant process improvement. - Comfortable working directly with business executives: CIO, CTO, PMO in an advisory role Required Skills/experience: - Demonstrable, solid experience delivering successful, large-scale software development projects - Agile implementation experience - Experience running IT projects within complex and political stakeholder landscapes, - Exposure to a variety of Project Management and/or Program Management methodologies - Waterfall experience - Strong problem-solver who can design solutions and assist developers with issues - Must also have experience supporting one of the following business functions: i) Clearing and Collateral Management ii) Fund services (Accounting and Reporting) iii) Second Lending iv) Global Custody Education: - Degree in Computer Science or related field About MicroAgility: MicroAgility is a business and technology consulting company.
