Growing company doubled in size in the last 3 years, extensive growth expected for the next 5 years Key: Looking for a Technical Manager with over 5 years of Department / People Management experience as well Hands ON experience with the following technologies. VMWARE, SAN, CITRIX, XenApp  JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Director, Managed Services, this position provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to the Managed Services team which is responsible for the implementation of desktop virtualization products and systems including desktop voice/data, networking, servers and operating systems.  The Manager is expected to bring technology leadership to the team and will also be tasked with delivering client projects as well as other client-facing responsibilities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Management Responsibilities: Provide technology leadership to team members,      based on his/her personal experience in designing, planning, deploying and      operationalizing key technologies Manage the design of client desktop      virtualization solutions, deployment of these solutions and their ongoing      support. Train, coach, and mentor Managed Services staff. Participate in hiring, orientation and      performance management processes Oversee the development, implementation, and      administration of training procedures and policies. Together with other managers, develop and      document operational procedures/templates/roles and responsibilities for      sales support, service provisioning and problem/change management Monitor staff for adherence to the defined      policies/procedures Measure and monitor client SLA metrics, and      handle exceptions. Work with sales to effectively manage customer      expectations as they relate to product offerings Effectively manage escalations (both within and      with suppliers/customers) for timely resolution. Provide status on support related issue in cases      of management escalation. Track and analyze customer trends using systems      and generate statistical reports. Measure team performance related to incident      management, and help team members improve in select areas Ensure documentation is maintained as it relates      to service changes. Manage and enforce request handling and      escalation policies and procedures. Lead regular team meetings to discuss internal      and external issues.  Help team prioritize projects and responsibilities Operations Responsibilities: For select projects/customers: Perform software product installation,      configuration management, maintenance, testing and documentation of      VMware, Citrix and Microsoft related products Install virtualization solutions for our clients      using ESXi, Xen... http://bull.hn/l/U9P5/4"
