Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Tools and Process Expert for a Contract position based in the UK Claus Wolfsteiner posted a job: Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Tools and Process Expert for a Contract position based in the UK "Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Tools and Process Expert for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company, for a Contract position based in the UK Purpose of the job: To Implement the Standard Project tools within the project organisation and adapt to the local project requirements. To Maintain the Project tool throughout the Project duration, provide Training to Local staff. Manage the Project Process and implement within the Tools and database Provide Project Reporting to the Management Key objectives: · Responsible for a wide scope of support functions for the tool Project Database These functions range from deploying the project database tool, training users and maintaining the tool. · The Process and tool Manager shall monitor the overall functionality of the database and keep it functioning correctly and produce reports and summaries to support all management needs. · The Process and tool manager shall collect all relevant project process from the project team/customer/subcontractor and ensure that the tool caters for all the required data entry and milestones Areas of Responsibility: · Initial set up of the tool database to handle project specific requirements such as internal/customer/subcontractor milestones in the appropriate field format. · Customize reports to meet project related goals and Customer requests · Routine maintenance and back up of information · Train users either internal, subcontractors or customer personnel as required · Keep the output forms up to date · Ensure all data is accurate and working with managers to trouble-shoot problems · Ensures that a high level of security is in place and regulated. · Establish synchronization schedules for data merging and the proper completion of this task · Ensures that the process is being followed and escalate accordingly if not · Keeps track of process changes during the project life time, adapt the tools accordingly, informs users and re-train if necessary Person Specification: · Knowledge of Access and Oracle operating platforms · Experience in fast paced project rollouts · Works well under extreme pressure with tight timeframes · Accurate, reliable, self-confident and firm · MS Office Suite (Competent User) · Excel, Word & PowerPoint (High Competence) · Fluent in spoken and written English · Excellent report writing skills · Willingness to travel If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experiences for the above position, please forward your updated resume in a word document to Karl at sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIKL/TPE-13695 or call +44 (0) 1704 518 934 for further information.
