Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Lead Software Developer Contract Duration: 6+ months Location: Marlborough, MA Renjith Mathew posted a job: Lead Software Developer Contract Duration: 6+ months Location: Marlborough, MA "Lead Software Developer Contract Duration: 6+ months Location: Marlborough, MA Description: Job Responsibilities As a member of this team, the individual will have the following responsibilities: • Lead the development team activities including prioritizing requests, designing solutions, and supervising the development efforts • Participate in architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support • Work with business team, project managers, and systems analysts to review and qualify business requirements, functional specifications, use-cases, and test plans • Design, prototype and code new software components and applications based on functional specifications. • Coordinate with analyst teams to execute test plans and provide support during user acceptance testing. • Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new functionality and to optimize them for performance. • Work with other software engineers to design and implement application features, including user interfaces, and business functionality enhancements. • Author technical design and support documentation .Min Requirements: • Job Qualifications The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business problems. • Strong oral, presentation and written communication skills. • • Ability to articulate technical solutions to system analysts and business teams without using too much technical jargon • 7-10 years of experience including 3-5 years of experience in working on a software engineering team with onshore and offshore resources • 3-5 years of proven object-oriented software design and development experience in Java-based technologies • • At least 5 years of experience and expert-level proficiency at Database development in Oracle • 5+ years of proven experience with such technologies as web services, XML/XSLT, Struts, Grails, log4j, ANT, • Spring, Hibernate, AJAX • • Financial industry knowledge is a plus. Experience with iterative software development methodologies, such as Agile.
