Job Description: Work with users and subject matter experts to focus on the design, development, testing and documentation of applications using Oracle APEX-Perform unit testing of applications to ensure efficient execution and compliance with business and technical requirements-Perform system tuning when required-Maintaining and enhancing existing systems as well as developing new systems-Serve in a mentoring and small team lead capacityRequirements, technical:-Excellent knowledge of relational database design concepts, coding and debugging PL/SQL (functions, triggers, procedures)-3 years of experience with Oracle APEX (with recent experience with version 4.1 or higher); strong skills in design and development of APEX applicationso Experience with Oracle 11g (creating/modifying tables, views, sequences, hierarchical queries, aggregate functions, etc.)-Excellent understanding of and experience with application architecture and design -Ability to integrate underlying database using database links and materialized views (including tuning)-Constructing and optimizing complex SQL queries to support reporting needs-Analyzing and updating data models (conceptual and logical data models)-Experience designing and manipulating web content dynamically using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS and HTML (EXT.JS framework is also beneficial)Requirements, non-technical-An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred but 3+ years in the development of professional enterprise software projects is acceptable-The ability to work effectively both in a team and independently-Small team or project leadership experience -Excellent written and spoken English communications skills-Previous experience in an agile (SCRUM-type) environment would be beneficial-Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, source control, build and release processes, and unit testing-Be able to provide examples of work including requirements, designs and code"
