"Job: Technical Support Department: Information Technology Title: Technical Support Reports to: Technical Supervisor Leads: A. Roles and Responsibilities  Ability to assess a problem quickly.  Install, maintain, diagnose and repair PC hardware, printers. And related peripheral equipment with Microsoft products in a networked environment.  Diagnose research and resolve issues using vendor resources and other support methods.  Follows up on opened request to close out the requests and ensures that customer is satisfied.  Provides technical input and review to service manuals, bulletins, and other technical documentation as needed.  Train users on using systems or new hardware.  Work with Application team to deploy new cycles or process in remote location.  Keep communication up and running in remote location in good speed and escalate any down time case to vendor and his supervisor and register it in communication log.  Assure IT policies and procedure is applied.  Protect remote location systems and infrastructure of any abuse or violation.  Maintain & register all the daily task in Service desk.  Train users to be independent to do small maintenance like change ribbon, cartridge or reboot their systems or archive their data.  Working on cross-functional teams and projects.  Must view customer satisfaction as something he personally owns from beginning to end  Maintain confidentiality for user’s information when having their systems and data.  Work under pressure with maintains a professional image.
