Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager in the UK Rachael Manning posted a job: Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager in the UK "Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company, for a Contract position based in the UK Job Description Responsible for overall management of 3rd party deliveries, forecasting and ordering across the programme and constituent projects over the entire project life cycle (initiation, preparation, implementation, acceptance, close out) to ensure an efficient and cost effective delivery solution is delivered Responsibilities The effective management and delivery of all Logistics, Asset Management, Supply Chain Management, including the • Management of Third Party Suppliers to the programme • Manage a team of professionals to deliver the following activities • Manage Supply Logistics & Inventory management • Management of the supply chain including all third party logistics (3PL) providers • Interface with team/s to ensure efficient use of 3PL facilities and services • Monitoring performance of 3PL providers • Raising of purchase, service and equipment requisitions as required to support project • Monitoring of financial performance of 3PL providers • The Supplier will ensure the recovery of equipment in line with existing processes. • Monitoring and optimisation of stock levels to meet demands of the programme • Management of equipment returns through ‘dead on arrival’ (DOA) process or from equipment swaps as per existing processes. • Performance management of vendors • Management of asset disposal • Forecasting to meet programme requirements • Vendor forecast • Performance reporting of 3PL providers • Performance reporting of vendors • Equipment availability reports If you are interested in this challenging position with good opportunity to develop within the organisation then please contact Karl at sales(at)manningglobal.com with your resume in Word Doc format or alternatively call +44 1704 518 934, in our UK Office, reference LIKL/LSCH-14013"
