"Optical Trainer -UK Expert knowledge in the telecomm industry and process in-depth product knowledge of SDH, WDM, Ethernet &IP etc An experienced Data Communication Technical Instructor needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company for a Permanent Position based in the UK Job description: • Fulfil the knowledge transfer of our clients-manufactured Optical network series products to our customers, local staff and partners. • Deliver technical training courses with excellent presentation skills. • Maintain a high personal level of technical expertise and strive to become a subject matter expert on the relevant clients technical products and all associated technologies. • Ensure course material/training documentation for training deliveries reflects the latest available technical and product information in-line with customer requirements by regular liaison with Solution department. • Courseware development as per the monthly and yearly plan, training catalogue optimization and development. • Analyse the training demands of our clients customers, optimise and localise training courses accordingly. • Maintain the training facility to support practical training course delivery, including training equipment, training classroom, and accessory assets. Management and maintenance training labs. • Provide training solution by participating bidding activities according to customer requirement and based upon our clients Training course catalogue and to ensure the proposed courses are efficient and deliverable. • Be involved in the engineering deployment projects, which is including but not limited to installation and commissioning project, maintenance project and test project etc. • Communicate across product training teams, project departments and GTSD product lines for the benefit of the department and the enhancement of knowledge. • Be prepared to travel to meet the Company’s training requirements. • Mainly Customer-facing and involvement of customer training events. Requirements: • University Degree in telecommunications. • At least 2-3 years experience in telecommunication market • Expert knowledge in the telecomm industry and process in-depth product knowledge of SDH, WDM, Ethernet &IP etc. • Good computer skills in MS office • Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, communication & team work skills • Self-motivated and energetic; able to work with minimum supervision • Fluent in English If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experiences for the above position, please forward your updated resume in a word document to Karl at sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIKL/OP-14141 or call +44 (0) 1704 518 934 for further information.
