You will also be responsible for managing, upgrading and maintaining multi-site, multi-domain Active Directory deployment and Exchange 2007 as well as related email infrastructure. Additional responsibilities: • Developing policies and implementing Group Policy, DFS, DNS, and SCOM • Evaluating, testing, deploying and maintaining both custom developed and third party software upgrades • Creating & maintaining system architecture and troubleshooting documentation • Ensuring the development and use of an effective preventive maintenance program suitable to meet the operation objective of "99.9% availability" • Analyzing and troubleshooting network communications failures and bottlenecks • Taking ownership of production issues, working closely with the infrastructure and development teams on issue resolution • Recommending and planning for implementation of server hardware/software upgrades • Using standard monitoring tools to automate systems monitoring task • Assisting in planning, designing and implementing a high quality production environment • Assisting in evaluating, recommending, and selecting equipment, services and vendors • Traveling to Client datacenters for the deployment of the server architecture • Responding to all system problems on a 7X24 basis and taking part in on-call rotation" | |||||
