Group: Technology Recruiters Subject: URGENT Need for SAP EDI Consultant for Dallas TX 6 Months naveen katukam posted a job: URGENT Need for SAP EDI Consultant for Dallas TX 6 Months "We have following urgent requirements 3017-SAP EDI Dallas, TX 05/27/2013 12/31/2013 We have a requirement for an EDI resource FOR two people. Resource would be onsite in Dallas for a multi year gig - relo required. Client does about 45% of their business via EDI supporting 350 to 400 partners ranging from Wal-Mart to smaller retailers with transactions including the 800, 300, and 200 series. They are currently on Gentran 5 and will be upgrading to Gentran 6 running on Red Hat Linux - someone with experience with upgrades would be great. Transportd includes AS2, GIS for VAN, and FTP. Work is split 50/50 between support and new maps/trading partner set up/ development. Requires SAP expertise - including a bit of functional knowledge (trading partner setup), as well as iDoc knowledge and the ability to manage inbound and outbound error queues, resends, etc. Maps are managed using the Visual Mapper tool - with the upgrade maps will need to be migrated to the AI Mapper."
