"nextSource is looking for a highly motivated Staffing Specialist to join our Freeport and Port Arthur, TX Area team! Our organization supports a dynamic group of clients who expect the best and the brightest in the recruitment industry. Our staffing specialists are team players and enjoy a highly collaborative environment that appreciates creative thinking. We are looking for someone who is confident and self-motivated and looking to make a name for themselves in our client base. Experience in Oil and Gas is a plus. Responsibilities: • Thoroughly screen accepted candidates for each opening • Document screening notes and forward to manager for review • Timely follow up on all active candidates with managers • Provide feedback to vendors on candidates submitted • Process pay increases when instructed by HR or manager • Assist managers with entering jobs if they have questions • Make sure jobs have been approved by HR • Release all approved jobs within 1-2 hours to assure 3 quality submittals within 24 hours • Follow up on time sheets that have not been approved by managers • Follow up on expense reports that have not been approved by managers • Work with managers to identify future hiring trends so that we can be prepared • Build solid vendor relationships • Build solid relationships with HR partners at their site as well as hiring managers • Document each opening in the system with the most current update • Work with managers and vendors when contract employee issues arise • • Use interpersonal skills to build relationships with hiring manager, channel partner vendors and candidates. • Manage channel partner vendor contracts and scorecards. Requirements • College Degree Preferred (do not think it should be required – some experienced recruiters are not degreed) • 5+ years of recruitment experience required (Combination of Agency and Corporate preferred) • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize based on current events • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written • Excellent computer skills For consideration, please contact Susan Jett at sjett@nextsource.com or by calling 615-778-9129."
