"This is required for a leading IT MNC. Title: Bid Manager/Sr Bid Manager - BPO Reports to: Global Portfolio Head - BPO Location: Bangalore The role: Bid Manager leads large bids/pursuit process (proposal response) end-to-end & works with the Sales, Delivery, Solution, Practices, Legal, Pricing and other partnering teams to create & deliver winning proposals in BPO Operations. Roles & Responsibilities: Bid Management - BPO Operations Leads Pursuit Process for large, strategic and multiple tower deals including Opportunity Qualification, Solution Approval and Deal Approval Project Management of all aspects of pursuit from kick-off through Bid Submission Establishes & manages pursuit calendar with key review/ pursuit milestones Formulates the pursuit team by reaching out to respective functions within the organization [Sales, Solutioning, Delivery, Practice, COE, Finance, Legal, RE etc] Runs pursuit strategy along with pursuit team to establish WIN themes Responsible for Creation, tracking and controlling proposal response document & documents required for review checkpoints Provides vertical specific sales collateral and case study support Responsible for delivering strategic and pursuit-related market insight for purposes of optimizing sales strategy and improving pursuit win rate. Contributes to Marketing campaigns. Research & Analytics Leads White Space creation – Identify key target segments / clients in collaboration with sales team Account profiling – Provide detailed account profile for the identified accounts along with a calling plan Establishes & manages the new client acquisition list working closely with the sales team Provides competitor information and battle cards Opportunity trend analysis - Present key trends and take appropriate action to address top client needs Preferred Qualification / Experience: Graduates with MBA, experience in ITES services with 6-8 years experience for Bid Managers and 8-12 years for Sr Bid Managers Strong domain understanding & experience working with Banking & Capital Markets/Insurance/Enterprise Must have experience in pre-sales in BPO operations . Experience in using standard market research tools viz., Hoovers, Iprofile etc to bring intelligence for an ongoing opportunity Demonstrated track record of successful Bid Management, of large strategic deals. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong Analytical & interpersonal skills with Proficiency in MS Office Self-starter with ability to define and refine strategy for effective results Assertive personality with enthusiasm to work in a changing, fast-growth environment. Business-savvy individual with proven stakeholder management and people skills.
