Business analyst + functional analyst with Architect knowledge (without being an Architect!) Business applications are composed by 10 applications including 8 Java and 2 .NET. Good knowledge of bpost BUS + ICT landscape is a plus. DESCRIPTION : A Functional Analyst translates the business analysis or business requirements into a functional and technical analysis of the (end-to-end) process that serves as input for the development and test team. For this specific funtion bpost is looking for somebody who has also sufficient technical background . 1.Analysis of the business requirements impacting an application for a project or enhancement request •Communication with business or business analysts on these requirements 2.Estimate the workload of the chosen solution (high level); define the deliverables to be created depending on the business requirements and plan the change (project, release, fix) 3.Create the documentation of the analysis in a solution design and story list according to best practices in terms of functional and non-functional requirements and standards •For packages, ensure standard functionality is leveraged maximally and customisations are kept to a minimum 4.Provide input and guidance to developers regarding detailed technical design •Provide input into and review story design •Define functional setup parameters 5.Be the contact person for functional questions or issues •Within the team, towards other teams or business during both development and maintenance activities •Ensure functional dependencies with other applications 6.Optionally, define test scenarios and participate in testing activities 7.Maintain functional knowledge and documentation of the assigned application portfolio •For packages, have an in depth knowledge of the standard functionality and standard data model 8.Get acquainted with the methodologies, modelling tools and best practices which are used for functional analysis Deliverables 1.Story List 2.Story Design 3.Scope Document 4.Use Cases 5.GUI Design 6.Technical Design, Database Design ( objects) 7.Business Rules LANGUAGES : - Perfect Dutch and excellent understanding of French. - Fluent spoken & written English is mandatory (both written & spoken) More info? jobs@nxt-it.biz ref nr 1961" | ||||||
