Job Description: Fashion One Television require a software development manager, to manage a team developing software such as subtitling software. The position will be based on the tropical island of Mactan, Cebu, Philippines, and will require the applicant to relocate to our complex in Philippines. Flights and Accommodation paid for by us. Salary negotiable. Tasks: Managing the current development team. Managing the development of subtitling software. Reviewing current systems and software. Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals. Working closely with analysts, designers and staff. Managing the testing the products in controlled, real situations before going live. Preparation of training manuals for users. Maintaining the systems once they are up and running. Required skills: Expertise in current computer hardware and software. Ability to use/understand one or more development language (C++, PHP, .NET, HTML, Java etc.) Strong communication skills.
