Our Client is seeking to hire an Airfreight Coordinator to be based in Limerick. This is a 6 month contact position, with the possibility of extension or permanency!!! Our client is one of the world’s leading providers of freight logistics services. For more than 100 years, our client have been providing their customers with transportation and logistics solutions that support the way they want to do business, wherever they are in the world. The successful candidate will, as part of the Operations team, maintain day-to day operational requirements and liaise with Damclients to ensure that a continuous high level of service is provided. This will involve exporting air freight shipmentss fo rone of the largest accounts in Ireland, export documention for ocean freight traffic and markets, overseeing ad-hoc shipments for key clients. Required experience: Commerical experience liaising with airlines Air freight operations and commercial rates negotiation is essential Ocean and/or export documentation experience knowledge od routes serviced by airlines the ability to find effective transport solutions on short notice accurate and profitable quoation of air freight business preparation of accounting documentation, invoices and cost reserves experience liaising with clients 2 years recent experience in a similar role skilled in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SAP Characteristics flexibility, versatile, customer service ability to meet KPI's ability to take on new challenges quick learner detailed and meticulous in your approach to business comercially minded shrewd operator This role must be filled ASAP!!"
