"Hi. I am currently looking for SAP APO Business Systems Analyst for a client of mine in Mission Viejo, CA. This a permanent role and salary is negotiable. The SAP APO Business Systems Analyst works closely with Management, Logistics, and Manufacturing to design, develop, test, and implement all configuration within the Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) module of SAP as well as supporting the MM/PP configuration in SAP ERP. This position also works in collaboration with business users and the development staff to identify functional and technical specifications related to all APO processes. This role will combine APO production support activities for existing business as well as new project design and implementation of additional functionality. The candidate who joins our team will immediately be assigned to a project team which has recently implemented APO DP, SNP and PP/DS modules for all of our North American operations. The newly rolled out system is Phase I of a multiphase APO implementation. Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP APO configuration for DP, SNP and PP/DS. • Demonstrated knowledge of APO integration with PP and other modules. • Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle implementation. • Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. • Strong business acumen and understanding of Demand Planning, Production Planning and Execution and Logistics to establish credibility and trust with all levels of the organization. • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to SAP to coordinate and assist with detailed technical design. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals. • Proven ability to research and assess potential SAP solutions in support of new business requirements. • Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving of Business as Usual requirements, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed. • Understanding of full life cycle ASAP or other development methodology. • Demonstrated ability to remain effective and productive in a fast-paced and changing environment. • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
