The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible to monitor operations within the Electronic Payments Department to ensure that daily functions are performed as scheduled and that all associates follow current department procedures and bank policy. This position will assist in the development of procedures and controls; interface as necessary with area Operations Managers, Account Relationship Managers and Customers to manage exception processing and resolve processing issues. The Senior Operations Analyst will also review monthly department reports and offer variance explanations to management; assist in resolving exception issues; working with strategic customers; ensure productivity and quality objectives fall within prescribed standards and monitor operation systems. In addition, this position will perform special projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 4 years of experience working in an ACH Operations environment, exhibiting a history of increasing responsibility and evidence of successful outcomes is required. Previous bank and/or commercial bank operations experience is required. Proficient with TSO and an understanding of Data Communications standards is required. Must be familiar with core ACH processing platforms, preferably PEP+. Advanced knowledge of ACH Operations processing environment. Demonstrates a significant understanding of the ACH Network and a meaningful degree of proficiency with NACHA rules. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are required. Successful candidates must have solid analytical skills, attention to detail and time management skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
