Please review all of our nation-wide jobs at www.7SolutionsUSA.com  General Comments Establishes and promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment through the following responsibilities: •Makes studies of hazards to health and industrial accident causes for use by company personnel and outside agencies. •Formulates general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company or plant personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. •Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, shop safety, fire prevention, and safety program in general. •Inspects or tours facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, and recommends corrective or preventative measures wherever and whenever possible. •Keeps managers and employees alerted as to the hazards of working with toxic fumes, dangerous chemicals, and any other hazardous substances. •Participates in the investigation of accidents and injuries. •Assists in the preparation and investigation of material and evidence for use in hearings, law suits, and insurance investigations. •Compiles and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies. •Oversees the administration of the workers' compensation program, including working with the insurance carrier to cut down on lost employee time and unjust claims. •Devises, supervises, and coordinates training programs or media which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote safety consciousness. •Prepares and arranges safety exhibits and material for display, promotional work, industry conferences, and exhibitions. •Represents the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs. •Maintains safety files and records. •Additional duties may be assigned Required Skills Language Skills •Ability to read, analyze, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. •Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. •Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Reasoning Ability •Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. •Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables."
