Subject: ORACLE DWH DEVELOPER- Tempe, AZ Wendi Kasparian posted a job: ORACLE DWH DEVELOPER- Tempe, AZ "This is a high impact position within the IT department responsible for design and development activities in support of an enterprise data factory. This data factory includes operation data stores (ODS), data warehousing, data mart, and business presentation layer facilities. This position must act as an advocate for proper data management principles, understand relevant technologies, and have detailed knowledge of the best methods for constructing and supporting a mature data factory. -Understand principles of data management, modeling, design, and development within a large data environment. -Work with data architects and senior Manager to re-engineer existing systems into data management solution which reflect US Airways overall data strategy. -Understand data quality issues, and constantly improving data quality practices. -Be an active participant in the ongoing development and execution of the Enterprise Information Strategy. -Act as subject matter expert in the subjects of Data Warehousing, Data Management, and Data Warehouse architecture Build solutions leveraging multiple database technologies -Work with peers to advance data management principles across the enterprise. QUALIFICATIONS: Under graduated degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training 5+ years IT experience 3+ years working with Oracle database structures 3+ Microsoft SQL Server years experience with Oracle Database 3+ development including proficiency in PL/SQL programming. 3+ years working with data management solutions including: Data Marts, Data Warehouses, and Operational Data Stores 3+ years of experience using Informatica ETL tools. Experience working with large (>1tb) data structures Experience in UNIX, Solaris 2x, and LINUX Red Hat Advance Server highly desired US Citizen or Green Card Holder Contract to Hire to start, client is looking for long term fit.
